Divitas Capital is a for profit organization. But apart from that, the team here has a core belief of deriving value by giving back to society in a meaningful manner. Although not mandated by law to do so, we endeavor to our bit to support a social cause.

Our team here at Divitas is a bunch of sports enthusiasts and we believe that supporting something we love brings out our passion to the fullest.

Excelling in sport, like any other walk of life can be a very rewarding pursuit both for an individual and their country. Yet, India, a country with more than a billion people lags far behind its peers in terms of development in sports.

We have partnered with Anglian Medal Hunt, one of India’s leading organizations supporting athletes across Olympic disciplines, to extend our support to the cause. We have begun our endeavor by supporting a budding shooting talent, Shivam Shukla, who participates in the 25m Air Pistol category.

Hailing from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Shivam’s passion for shooting was kindled by his grandfather who is a coach with the Indian National team. Although a very talented shooter, he didn’t seriously consider representing India until the 2015 Nationals where he won three individual gold medals and two individual silver medals. That gave him a lot of confidence. Then at the Junior World Cup in Germany last year, he won an awesome six medals.

We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and plan to support him all the way.
